The situation

A major private bank needed a technology partner that could deliver inside the walls of banking compliance.

Banks do not buy software the way other businesses do. Every vendor, every deployment and every line of code passes through security review, audit and process. Most firms never make it through the door, and many that do cannot keep up the discipline the relationship demands.

The approach

We treated the bank's process as part of the problem, not as overhead around it. Documentation, security posture and predictable delivery were scoped as engineering work in their own right, because inside a bank, they are.

Work was cut into stages the bank's own teams could review and sign off. No surprises, no heroics: every deliverable was something an auditor could read and an engineer could maintain.

What we built

What we build for a bank stays inside the bank. What we can say:

  • Web platform engineering delivered under the bank's security and review processes.
  • Integration with systems the bank already runs, rather than parallel silos.
  • Documentation and handover to the bank's standards, so nothing depends on us being in the room.

The outcome

Bytekat delivers for one of India's major private-sector banks. That sentence is the credential: the security review, the audit trail and the delivery discipline all held.

The relationship is the outcome, and it has grown: we now also deliver for FedServ, Federal Bank's subsidiary. Banks do not keep vendors that miss.
